Cloud Security EngineerSalary: £50,000 dependant on experience.Location: Nottingham Central This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Engineering professional to make a significant, long-lasting contribution to a high-profile business, at a key point in its development.Who we're looking for:We are looking for a talented Application Security Engineer with deep technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver solutions and guidance to Engineers across the business to build security into our systems and secure their applications and pipelines. What you'll be doing: * Work with teams across the business to understand how they do things and build solutions that fit with their processes* Support and train engineers to add security tests and tooling to CI/CD pipelines and local development environments* Define process and best practices for application security across squads* Assess security risks in our development pipelines and be a key contributor to the Information Security risk register You will have:* Qualifications/certifications in security testing, application security etc. beneficial but not required* Strong coding skills, especially .NET C#* Familiarity with AppSec tooling (SAST, DAST, RASP, IAST), such as Snyk, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP etc* Familiarity with Cloud Platforms particularly GCP (inc. Kubernetes) and Azure* Capable of working with common CI/CD technologies, particularly BitBucket, Appveyor, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy.* Collaborates well in a team environment* Passionate about continuous improvement* Confidence to speak in front of people and produce useful and concise documentation as necessary* A desire to learn new techniques and trends and apply them within our business context
