Role: IT Security EngineerLocation: LeedsRate: £450p/dLength: 6 month initial (scope for 9) The company: My client currently have a number of ongoing business transformation projects across the IT Space. Due to this they are requiring an additional security engineer on a contract basis to come and assist the team with both advising on best practice as well as getting hands on with SIEM solutions. My client is ideally looking for someone with a network/infrastructure background with a recent focus on security. Your Role: Main areas of responsibility:Firewall administration (ASA/Palo Alto)Cisco R&Snetwork monitoring (Solarwinds)Management of IPAM systemsWorking with SIEM to respond to events and manage vulnerabilities Experience required:networking technologies including both Cisoc and Palo Alto firewallsNetwork monitoring tools;Hands on experience with SIEM solutionsIdentifying risks and issues, escalating and providing potential resolutionsDesign and maintenance of technical documentationInvestigating and documenting security incidents and analysing intrusion and vulnerabilities IT Security Engineer - LeedsPlease click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
