Full Stack Engineer / Software Developer (Python Web Django REST API). UX Design agency is seeking a technically-sharp, passionate Full Stack Engineer to join their high energy team of talented technologists who genuinely love what they do, and help to deliver exceptional products to household-name clients.

The agency specialises in video-on-demand products and have built an excellent reputation working with a diverse range of high-profile brands and companies, from major television channels to the sports industry and beyond. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work to deliver flagship products for major broadcast and sports organisations, operating at the high end of the market to help clients innovate and understand the importance of user insights through the bespoke platform.

In this Full Stack Engineer role, you'll play a critical role in defining and driving internal standards, powering innovation with the latest technologies to ensure standards of technical excellence are met and maintained. You'll work with up-to-the-minute technologies, predominantly using Python and Django on the backend with REST APIs to design and develop bespoke web-based systems for a key core product.

Requirements:

·You have strong experience with Python web frameworks (Django preferred) and experience of writing tests

·You have a good understanding of Design Patterns and Data Structures

·You have hands-on experience of developing REST APIs as part of a microservice architecture

·You have knowledge of how to write scalable performant applications

·You're positive and tech-driven, keen to keep pace with emerging technologies and enhance your skills

·Desirable: experience with AWS / cloud platforms, knowledge of functional languages such as Elixir, experience with RabbitMQ / Kafka
