Network Solutions Architect

One of our public sector clients is seeking a Network Solutions Architect to join their North London based team. You will be responsible for the design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions. You will make changes to services, processes, organisation, operating models and other aspects as required, demonstrating how requirements are met.

This position is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, and applications should only be made if you are able to commit to this type of work.

Network Solutions Architect duties include, but not limited to:

*Gathering and understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis ad problem resolution

*Identifying, evaluating and recommending options, and implementing these options if required

*Collaborating with and facilitating stakeholder groups, as part of formal/informal consultancy agreements

*Producing detailed specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products

*Providing advice on technical aspects of system development and integration

*Identifying new and emerging hardware and software technologies and products

As the Network Solutions Architect /you will be required to possess:

*ITIL Certification

*Previous experience translating technical requirements in to business language

*Strong experience with enterprise design and implementation of corporate networks

*A good knowledge of core networking technologies, and key technology providers

*Practical knowledge of WAN, LAN and enterprise voice solutions

*Experience with MS Office Suite 2003/2010

*Understanding of VPN and Wireless Networking Concepts

*Internet Security Solutions (M86 or equivalent) knowledge

With a salary on offer of up to £62,225 (inclusive of allowances) this is a great opportunity to join an established organisation and play an integral role within their enterprise architecture team.
