SC Cloud Migration Developer (SQL, .NET C#, Azure)

Our client, a leading outsourcing company require an experienced Cloud Migration Developer (SQL, .NET C#, Azure) for an initial 3 month contract based in Corsham.

The role is for a Senior developer to work within a Cloud Migration team. The work involves working with a CGI Cloud Migration development team to move the end client from on-premise hosting onto Azure cloud.

Previous experience and skillset:Experience in SQL Server 2008 R2 as well as more modern versions would be beneficial.Experience in administration of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Server 2016 would be beneficial.Experience of development within Azure environment.Ability to work in an Agile way as part of an Agile team.Experience of development in Microsoft .Net C#.Experience of development in Embarcadero Delph would be beneficial.Experience of development using MSDTC (Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator).Due to the nature of the project, candidates must hold or be eligible and willing to undergo SC security clearance.
