Our client is looking for an 2nd & 3rd Line support engineer to start ASAP on an initial 3 month contract. There will be the potential to renew beyond this. You may be required to travel between other sites and also participate in a support rota. The role is predominantly 2nd Line bordering 3rd line support.This role will be inside IR35 - so you must use an Umbrella company for this assignment** You must hold drivers licence as there will be travel to other offices **Qualifications
'€¢Qualified to diploma level in the field of Information Technology or equivalent education and experience combined'€¢Microsoft or IBM Certified Professional
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
'€¢Knowledge of networking and network protocols for basic connectivity testing'€¢Knowledge of Information Governance and Security and confidentiality issues'€¢An understanding of the work undertaken by standards bodies such as BSI, CEN, ISO and W3C'€¢Project Management skills'€¢Familiarity with web-based data management'€¢A good understanding of computers including hardware, networking and Microsoft software environments'€¢Experience of working in an IT desktop environment
