Intermediate Quantity SurveyorDublin Salary: EUR50,000 - EUR65,000Job Ref: HH70020 An international consultancy is urgently seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with an MEP bias to work on a range of the large high-tech construction projects currently in progress in Dublin. The successful Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be expected to assist with large construction packages through to completion. This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a consultancy that has continuously grown year on year since 2016 in high value construction markets. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will be encouraged to progress through strong training programs and offers future career opportunities by assisting with diplomas in relevant Quantity Surveying fields. The Responsibilities of the Intermediate Quantity SurveyorThe Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be expected to:Cover pricing and assessment of variations and contract entitlement negotiationResponsible for cost controllingLiaising with Mechanical and Electrical parties from initial enquiries through to final accountsActively work with Project Managers relating to contract variationsIdentify areas of risk/scope and develop with the project teamProduce control document when project securedReview proposals with Designers and select/agree subcontractor enquiryProcurement of subcontract packagesProvide support in respect to legal/contract issues associated with the projectAttend post tender/pre-qual interviews and report accordinglyAttend site meetings as necessaryInput to the supply chain/preferred suppliers for constructional elements in conjunction with project teams for subcontractors/suppliersIntermediate Quantity Surveyor RequirementsThe Intermediate Quantity Surveyor should have the following skills:Proven experience managing large scale packages4-5 years + experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large scale construction projectsIdeally a degree in Quantity SurveyingElectrical or Mechanical bias with an appreciation for other packages To Apply for the position of Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, or to find out what other opportunities we can offer in the data centre construction sector, please contact Heather Hall at Project Resource Ltd.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an Employment Agency/Business.
