Java Software Engineer / Backend Developer (Java Spring microservices). Would you like to work on complex data centric systems? You'll could be joining a dynamic, global FinTech. As a Java Software Engineer you'll be collaborating with highly talented colleagues in an Agile Squad environment, problem solving and working with a modern technology stack including Java, Spring, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ and MongoDB.

You'll be joining a friendly team environment with casual dress code, continual learning opportunities and flexible working, including the ability to work from home part of the week.

Requirements for Java Software Engineer / Backend Developer:

Strong core Java experience including Spring

Experience of working with microservices, REST and NoSQL (MongoDB ideally)

Experience with message queues e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ

Good working knowledge with unit testing tools like Jest, Cucumber, JUnit, Groovy, Spock

Familiar with CI/CD; Blue/Green deploys; AppCentre; CloudBees; Jenkins

Collaborative with good communication skills
