Senior Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer (Python Django REST API DevOps). Are you an accomplished Senior Full Stack Developer looking for a hands-on opportunity to step up your career?

You could work with up-to-the-minute technologies to deliver industry-leading products to major players in sports and broadcasting, whilst progressing your career to the Head of Engineering position.

The business is a digital agency, specialising in video-on-demand products for household name, high profile clients across television, broadcasting and sports. They operate at the high end of the market, working with clients who value the importance of user insights, and you will help them improve the way they conceive and execute product systems.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer you'll work alongside other technology team leads, empowering your own team of talented Python Developers to deliver reliable, well-engineered, high quality products as well as developing as technologists. You'll ensure all code produced meets standards of technical excellence, easily transferrable between individuals and peer reviewed.

In this Senior Full Stack Developer role you'll have plenty of opportunities to showcase and refine your craft through hands-on work, developing REST APIs as part of a microservices architecting, using Python web frameworks (ideally Django) to create performant, scalable applications. You'll be exploring and executing large projects for tablet, mobile, responsive web and emergent technologies, using a modern tech stack to iteratively improve and grow these products over time.

This is a high visibility role where you'll partner with the CTO to plan strategy, define and architect projects in conjunction with working directly with clients to ensure requirements are understood; producing prototypes and proof of concepts to drive future product development and grow business.

Requirements:

You have strong Python Development experience (ideally including Django)

You have experience with REST APIs

You have good working knowledge of front end web technologies

You're familiar with microservices and DevOps environments

You enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge
