Security Support Engineer - Help Desk

My telecommunication client is recruiting for a Security Support Engineer to join their team ASAP based in Mechelen. Fluent French or Dutch is required.

As a member of the security service desk, you help customers resolve incidents that have an impact on their security infrastructure and their business. In particular, your duties include one or more of the following areas:

* respond to telephone or electronic requests for technical assistance

* identifying and solving technical hardware and software problems

* advise users on appropriate measures

* follow standard help desk procedures

* register all contacts with the service desk

* develop own knowledge in various security areas

* be a member of the team of security partners trusted by customers

As a Security Support Engineer, you gradually acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in various IT areas through on-the-job training and coaching by our consultants and other engineers.

Experience and knowledge of Firewalls, Palo Alto, and F5 is desirable

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
