Location - Manchester City CentrePosition Term - The project needs to be complete by August 2020IR35 status - OutsideRate - £400 - £450 per dayJob Description - My client has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps engineer to join their highly skilled Technology and Change team based in Manchester.My client is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer from a Dev background with a proven track record within AWS software development.Key Responsibilities include:Participate in a large-scale transition to a new service ownerInvestigate and replicate technologies in the new environmentMaintain 100% up time operations through a major period of transitionInvestigate, document and handover legacy systems to another teamWork directly with the customer's technical staff to solve unforeseen problemsMigrate infrastructure components that deliver secure, highly-available and scalable servicesMigrate Jenkins deployment pipeline to a new environment Experienced with:Experienced with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef/Ruby, Linux, Windows and Security practiceExposure to monitoring and alerting systems - Sensu, Graphite, GrafanaExperience of coding or scripting languages - JavaDatabase experience useful - MySQL (Percona)If you are interested in this role, please get in touch!Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
