Senior Project Manager (Data Centre & Cloud Hosting Migration) - Chesterfield

We are actively looking to secure a Senior Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

This programme is to move the customer's critical applications hosted within two DCs to revised private cloud and represents a significant investment from the customer, which is funded until Sept 2020.

The core premise being to migrate the applications and data from Enterprise Private Cloud (EPC) to Digital Private Cloud (DPC), aligning application utilisation with new capabilities for flexing capacity, and revised T-shirt sizing.

Underpinning the new service model for the transition will be a wholesale transformation of the hosting partners service management tooling which will be replaced from ATF 2.0 tools to existing ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Experience of major Data Centre application transitionExperience of Migration to Cloud HostingAbility to manage multiple third party suppliersDemonstration of having led delivery of key programmes / projects as per the aboveDemonstration of having structured Programme governance and stakeholder management to great effectCoordinating activities and dependencies within the programme and identifying external dependencies on other projects, resource or environmentsProven experience of empowering, enabling, supporting & motivating project teamsA recognised project and programme management methodology, e.g. Prince 2, MSP
