Head of Finance and Risk Systems Unit
Four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal
Are you highly experienced in developing and supporting finance and risk management systems, preferably within banking environments? Do you have an impressive track record of managing teams and IT projects? Then you can take the lead in delivering core applications for a bank with a unique social mandate.
Established in 1956 and bringing together 41 member countries, the CEB is a multilateral development bank which finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Providing inspiring leadership to our finance and risk management application experts, you will ensure that our systems are resilient and fit for purpose and fully meet evolving business requirements.
To this end, you will manage external consultants and service providers, actively introduce new systems and procedures, and oversee the co-ordination of Project Steering Committees and System User Groups. At the same time, you will plan and deploy substantial budgets, oversee procurement and define our future strategy and roadmap - so every day will bring new and exciting challenges.
To join us, you will require:
A degree level education, ideally backed by formal training in banking, finance or risk management
Substantial experience in senior roles, giving you a strong understanding of treasury and banking transaction processing and risk management
Proven ability to set clear goals for colleagues and contractors
Excellent writing and presentation skills, and a considered yet assertive approach
Full fluency in either English or French, with a good command of the other language
Knowledge of Temenos Globus T24 and Moody's risk management systems (ideal but not essential)
In return, you can expect an excellent tax-free salary and a comprehensive package of benefits, including a contributory pension plan, medical and personal insurance, family allowances where appropriate, and potentially reimbursement of relocation expenses.
