We've got an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect.The team provides essential structure, security and strength to the whole of the business. From their central basecamp, they solve problems, fix software, and obsess about delivering innovative tech solutions for the platform that runs their core systems. What you'll do:The Solution Architect for the Cloud COE (Centre of Excellence) is a critical role in designing and delivering cloud solutions for teams across the business. You will be designing and executing GCP foundational cloud technologies for a business that likes to move fast. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate heavily across our team's model to help produce enterprise solutions that are secure, compliant and scalable.This role will join the business' new Cloud COE team. The team is transforming the way our technology teams adopt the cloud the right way to enable quicker and safer innovation for the business. We have established ways of working for AWS. The focus now is looking at building similar frameworks and capabilities for GCP this year. Responsibilities:Undertake engagements related to cloud architecture with a specific focus on Google Cloud PlatformExecute cloud foundations development and migration projectDefine technical tasks and estimates required to implement a designDesign and architect cloud foundations for deployment into Google Cloud PlatformSupport adoption of Google Cloud Platform within a regulated enterprise environment (PII, GDPR, SOX)Work closely with team to provide input on best practices to tailor delivery offerings to meet enterprise customers' needsCollating and reviewing stakeholder requirements Required skills: Deep understanding on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Ideally certified in GCP or AWSSCRUM/agile methodologyDevOps practicesBroad infrastructure knowledge around network, storage and computeExperience in cloud securityMulti-cloud service models Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
