Project Description:

Infrastructure team member with DB2 administration skills. Configuration and installation of DB2,developing scripts for the installation and configuration of DB2. Must have IBM DB2 database administration skills in an AIX environment, role is to design, build and provide project support to development teams.

Skill: Must have IBM DB2 database administration skills in an AIX environment, role is to design, build and provide project support to development teams.Key areas we are looking for are - experience with large scale, secure DB2 environments with failover, disaster recovery, HADR and capacity planning exposure, used to working to demanding timescales in a multi-disciplined team.Design and delivery experience in project environments is essential and performance management would be desirable.

Nice to have skill: Design and delivery experience in project environments is essential and performance management would be desirable.Experience of designing (at a detailed level), developing, testing and documenting DB2.Must be able to develop components that meet strict execution time budgets and meet strict security requirements.Good documentation skills
