Our aircraft have all been modified to create 'flying classrooms' which meet both military and civil requirements. Their innovative glass cockpits have built-in flight test instrumentation suites to provide live flight data and enable realistic training scenarios. These enable training in specialist test techniques, such as air-to-ground radar testing, and the replication of entire sorties in the classroom for debrief and further study.Role & ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the instruction and development of the academic Ground School aspects of flight test courses including the design, delivery validation and assessment of Fixed Wing/and or Rotary Wing Ground School instruction. You'll provide tutorial assistance to support flying or simulator exercises and participate in Course Development and Progress including developing bespoke short courses.Additional responsibilities include validating Ground School theory and data analysis aspects of student exercise reports, as well as contributing to student reporting requirements. The role will involve delivering briefings, lessons & lectures, exercises and assessment material, tailoring and course material to meet syllabus requirements.As one of our Flight Dynamic Instructors you'll be required to motivate and inspire students, encouraging them to ask questions, providing your individual guidance, feedback and encouragement to help each individual develop learning skills. You'll also assist in the development and the update of documentation / briefing materials for exercises including the Students' and Tutors' HandbookFlight Dynamics subjects include: Mathematics, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Performance, Flying Qualities, Air Data Systems, the Atmosphere and Flight Control Systems. It is expected that individuals might specialise in either fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, manned or unmanned.
