However, there is a significant opportunity to drive the next stage of technology advancement in this area.We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with DBS to recruit a key role within their IT leadership team; with a new five-year strategy about to launch and new strategic partners in place, this is undoubtedly an exciting time for DBS technology teams and the wider business as they look to develop and modernise their services. DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Head of IT Service Management are:Provide strategic and operational leadership to the DBS IT Service Management function and understand its future capability.

Facilitate the development of a DBS SIAM function in partnership with strategic suppliers with a view to bringing the function in-house over the next two years.

To lead on the tactical and day to day operational relationship with all IT service and system suppliers to the DBS.

Represent the DBS on all service design, transition and operational IT Service Management issues and planning with external suppliers as part of current and future IT projects.

Own the DBS Service Catalogue, ensuring that services meet agreed business requirements and can be delivered by internal and third party service providers.

Manage all service change in accordance with good practice and Enterprise Architecture governance.

Profile To be considered for the Head of IT Service Management, you should demonstrate the following:Demonstrable track record of leading IT professionals and external service providers to deliver IT services

ITIL V3 Expert certification or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of an Enterprise Architecture framework

Extensive experience of working in complex multi supplier environments

Experience of delivering IT services across all stages of the IT service management lifecycle

Experience of operating within an Agile delivery environment

Experience of working within a SIAM environment

Ability to establish and maintain senior level relationships and influence at all levels

Excellent communication and influencing skills demonstrable at all levels and across all stakeholder and delivery groups
