Work closely with the senior leadership team and in partnership with the strategy managers to innovatively develop the clients Service Delivery capabilities as part of the overall transformation plan. As well as this, you will have direct operational responsibility for Service, and ensure that all services are delivered proportionate to need. Client DetailsThe client is a Unitary Authority based in the Midlands, who is embarking on a significant transformation over the next 3-5 years. DescriptionContribute to the strategic operational long-term vision of the serviceDefine delivery plans for the next 1-3 years, in addition to delivering specified income and savings targetsEnsure statutory and regulatory duties are in place and delivered appropriately, as well as ensuring full compliance with appropriate necessary regulations and legislationSet and review operational budgets to manage costs down, as well as ensuring the service delivers against key business objectives, as part of the transformation planBuild and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholder groups, ensuring all necessary consultation activities are undertaken and effectively managedResearch new technologies and alternative delivery methods to maximise efficiencyLead on the service redesign, ensuring that the voice of the customer is embedded in any service improvement plansManage resources effectively to achieve required outcomesLead on service redesign transformation plans in line with the Council's new operating model, as part of the transformation plan.Maintain and drive improvement in customer experience scoresIdentify and develop required capabilities of the team through effective management techniques, and enable a high-performance culture where innovation and creativity are encouraged and rewardedManage the service budget, and contribute to the Council's 1-3 year medium term financial planPresent yourself as a role-model for modern ways of workingProfileWill have proven service delivery experienceWill have a demonstrable background in project delivery, and the provision of Digital & ICT Services to a similar size organisationExperience managing multiple ICT Support and Development projects on a corporate levelProven success in business developmentExperience providing or commissioning ICT Services in a large, multi-disciplinary organisationA team player, naturally confident, and strong communicator with ability to build relationships with multiple business areas.
