My client based in the security prevention systems industry is looking for an experienced intermediate/senior Java developer to join their team in their Johannesburg office. Technology Stack; Must be familiar with Java 8 SE or laterMust be comfortable with remote debugging (i.e. debug from within the IDE, but an application running on a different host)Must ideally have knowledge of basic protocol implementations, i.e. crafting and sending byte streams conforming to a predefined protocolKnowledge of HSQLDB is a bonusMust be familiar with networking (primarily REST)Must be familiar with message queuing systems (eg. rabbitmq, but understanding messaging conceptually, and having worked with any messaging platform, is more important. Rabbit is just an example)AWS familiarity is a bonusMust be comfortable with maven. Advanced knowledge is not required, just basic usage.
