We are recruiting for an accomplished Senior Project Manager for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract in Manchester. You will be E2E responsibility for implementing a new core business solution across the business (IT and Change)

Our client is a a mid market size business with approx 1000 employees. They are undergoing significant transformation as a result of a organisation merger

Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering this business critical system implementation.

This will include working with business sponsors on opportunity/ benefits identification, concept development, planning, prioritisation, solution definition, project planning and delivery and benefits realisation.

You will have full responsibility for the successful completion of the project ensuring that sound project management disciplines are implemented including project scope, quality, change control, risk management, resources, costs and budget as well as stakeholder management

Profile

  • Extensive project management experience delivering business and IT change projects
  • Proven track record of delivering core business system implementation - e.g. ERP, CRM, Finance systems
  • Business solution oriented with a focus on problem identification, decision-making, solution implementation and benefits realisation
  • Proven project management skills, with a focus on successful management of complex technical and business change projects
  • Ability to formulate approach and define solution including dealing with uncertainty
  • Strong team leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate diverse team.
  • Outstanding people and relationship building skills
  • Proven track record of achievements, leadership and innovation
  • Experience of structured delivery methodologies covering all aspects of change lifecycle
  • Experience in dealing with diverse stakeholder groups in business and IT settings
  • Experience of delivering to strict target dates and/or service levels
  • Excellent people and relationship skills with ability to negotiate and influence
  • Sound technical knowledge of IT systems, dependencies and data flows

Job Offer

£50,000 - £60,000 plus generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and flexible working
