Mobile Developer (Android Kotlin RxJava OOP). World-leading FinTech is seeking a technically-sharp Mobile Developer to create and enhance features on their native Android mobile trading platforms. The organisation's leading edge core product is a unique trading platform where nearly 66.8 million trades are executed annually.
As a Mobile Developer you'll work within the highly collaborative Mobile Team, and alongside a 200-strong team of dedicated technology staff, covering software developers, test analysts, technical business analysts and support and infrastructure engineers. The company is founded on a ‘next generation' ethos, and continually looks for the most innovative ways to stay ahead of their competitors.
In this Mobile Developer role you'll collaborate with the Design Team, ensuring designs are sleek and functional and represent technically excellent development. You'll work closely with Java Server developers to integrate Android components with the backend systems, so you will have an opportunity to construct an in-depth appreciation of the product you are working on.
You'll be based at bright, spacious offices in the heart of the City where you can enjoy a relaxed (but professional) environment, casual dress code and a strong work life balance.
Requirements:
You have strong Android native app development experience, with examples of work on the Google Play store
You have Kotlin and RxJava experience
You have good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP and Design Patterns
You're a positive and committed team player, keen to develop your skills
