JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose and primary objectives: Development in C#/.NET web services and TSQL scripts for enabling database encryption Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Development in C#/.NET web services and TSQL scripts Key Skills/Knowledge: .net/powershell/TSQL windows based developer working with SQL server database minimum 5 years for large organisation any industry. Technical Strong knowledge of PowerShell including Production and maintenance of scripts Object orientated concepts .Net integration / WMI providers / database connectivity / REST APIs Use of SQL Server module Strong knowledge of C# including Production of Web Services Certificate based authentication Good knowledge of Windows 2008 upwards (Previous SA experience an advantage) including File system security model Performance monitoring Active directory concepts including NTLM / Kerberos TLS /SSL and windows certificates Good knowledge of SQL in the following areas Production of infrastructure T-SQL scripts and stored procedures Query diagnosis, optimizer behaviour Monitoring including practical knowledge of Performance counters, DMVs, SQL auditing, extended events Troubleshooting using common error log files and other information sources DR and HA including Mirroring / Log shipping / AlwayOn Encryption hierarchy concepts and implementation CLR Other Excellent communication skills with ability to work in a distributed team Test plan documentation production and execution Organise meetings with internal teams and coordinate activities Experience required: 10+ years Duration of the Assignment: 6 months
