My pharmaceutical solutions client are currently looking for an energetic Senior Director to build and lead the Infrastructure Services team within the IT Service Delivery group. This person will be accountable for supporting and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that comprise the global IT production environment, as well as the delivery of standard repeatable IT services related to the infrastructure. This role will allow this person to take the strategic lead and chart the path for the future direction of my client. A natural leader, this person will possess the ability to create a long term roadmap to be carried out on a global level, considering global risks and costs along with aligning with internal stakeholders and managing business expectations.The successful candidate will have:A Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in engineering, computer science, business administration or a related discipline. Minimum of 12 years IT experience (preferably Life sciences industry experience)Effective communication skills for large, multi-national audiencesPossess the ability to build and manage a high performing teamA natural ability to build lasting relationshipsAn understanding of IT service management frameworks and practices (ITIL) My client is also willing to hear from candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience to the listed above.
