We are looking for a contract Process Engineer to supervise and carry out process engineering duties on a large refinery project in North Cheshire.This will be a 6 month initial contract outside of IR35 (confirmed) . Responsibilities: Be capable developing a process design from initial FEED through to issue for tenderExperience in M&E Balances, PDF and P&ID Design, development of supporting documentation such as process description and process control philosophyDevelopment of process data sheetsLiaison with vendors to ensure compliance with the process design requirementsExperience in Pressure relief, LOPA etc would be advantageous Skills, Education and Experience: Essential experience in refinery processes including Distillation, Cracking, Hydro Treating.Degree in Chemical Engineering and preferably chartered statusBe able to demonstrate process engineering design skills - including developments of P&IDs Process hydraulic calculations & process specification of main equipment items (e.g. pumps, tanks and instrumentation)Experience in managing client relationships in a technical roleDesirable: Experience of risk assessments, HAZOP in team leader / chair, QRA, HAZAN, COSHHWaste to Energy experience (such as Pyrolysis, Gasification etc)Chartered member of IChemEWe cannot provide Visa support for this role.If interested then please send me your latest CV.
