ShortList Recruitment are on the lookout for a Junior Software Tester to join a rapidly-expanding client based in Warrington.
Our client is an internationally-recognised software house with a rapidly growing customer base, who require a Junior Software Tester to help and support that expansion. The ideal candidate will have some previous testing experience, with the responsibility to help define, maintain and execute test cases to maintain a high level of quality.
The successful Junior Software Tester will be a strong team player who wants to thrive in a fast-paced environment and relishes working both individually and as part of a team.
Essential skills required:
Experience in a QA/Test environment
Defect identification and reporting experience
Experience working in an Agile testing environment
Passion for software testing and desire to further career in automation
Desirable skills:
Computer Science/Engineering related degree
ISTQB certified tester
Hands-on manual and automation testing experience
Strong background in agile concepts
In exchange, the successful Junior Software Tester will receive a competitive salary up to £28,000 (DOE) and an excellent range of benefits. The role is commutable from Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
