A rapidly expanding financial services company based in Manchester are currently looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their growing development team.
The successful Senior PHP Developer will be driving a range of projects to deploy new products over the coming months. As the Senior PHP Developer you will lead a small team of back end developers working on a range of complex financial portal applications. The right Senior PHP will need to be adaptable and able to flex to meet workloads fluctuations. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your commercial development experience in a rapidly growing young company. The company are about to take a major new product to market, backed by a multi-million pound investment and growth strategy.
Skills Required for the Senior PHP role:
Exceptional OO PHP7 programming skills
Strong experience with MySQL/Postgres
Extensive experience with at least one major PHP
frameworks such as Zend, Symfony, Laravel
Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
Experience in writing new and using existing APIs
Experience with PHPUnit
The successful Senior PHP Developer will be joining an existing team who have a great working environment and you will have the opportunity to nurture and develop a team of junior and mid level developers.
There is a salary of circa £50,000 depending on experience. The Developer roles is based close to Manchester and is commutable from Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington and Runcorn.
