Due to positive growth and cultural change this successful well-established business has an opportunity for two Control Systems Engineers to join the team, at both Engineer and Senior Engineer level.You would be working on varied control systems projects for a UK customer base across such diverse industries such as Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Chemical, Automotive, Food and Energy. If you would enjoy a role where no two days are the same, with challenging and interesting work which allows you to be constantly developing your capabilities then this may be the position for you.As a Control Systems Engineer you would be involved in projects right from the initial specification through to in-house testing. You could be programming anything from PLCs to DCS to HMI to SCADA, so although some experience with Siemens or Rockwell could help you don't need to be an expert in any particular system, as training will be provided in order to broaden your skills.You will also be able to develop your project engineering skills and can have input into project planning and reporting. The company takes pride in delivering great quality work for their customers and ensures that every engineer knows the full story behind each project, so you can see how your work fits in. The level of travel in the role is fairly minimal and many customer sites are within an hour or so of the office.All you need is a good working knowledge of programming PLC or DCS driven Control Systems from scratch, a passion for solving problems and the drive to learn and to contribute to a great working environment. Any experience with the following systems would be beneficial: Siemens PCS 7, Delta V, Siemens S7, Siemens WinCC, Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell ControlLogix, RS FactoryTalk ViewThese roles can offer a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on the value you can bring to the business, and you'll be supported with health insurance, company laptop and flexible working hours which can include an early Friday finish.
