Senior Data Architect

Salary: £55,000+

Our client is an official government body that are seeking a Senior Data Architect to design, implement and manage Master Data Management. The postholder will be required to liaise, influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, to help shape and drive strategic change. The successful candidate will have experience in working with large transformation projects and managing the projects expectations. You will be expected to have excellent knowledge of data management including data modelling, data landscaping and reference data management. You would also be required to upskill, train and provide guidance to junior data architects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage data management workstream.
  • Provide a point of contact between IT and business units to support the creation of artefacts that define our strategic direction and objectives.
  • Contribute to the creation and adoption of best practice across the organisation for data.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to agree, define and implement Master data management and reference data management
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data migration.
  • Create a holistic view of the organisations As-is and Target Data landscape.
  • Create data flows, data lifecycles and data models
  • Review and support implementation of Data Policies and Standards.
  • Line management of junior data architect.
