An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Service Desk Manager to join a growing organisation based in Manchester. The role will involve managing and mentoring a team, ensuring KPIs are met, developing and maintaining escalation process procedures, Implementing and maintaining best practice ITIL processes, acting as an escalation point for all requests and Major Incidents and working alongside the Operations Director with regards to staff planning and efficiency.

Service Desk Manager Requirements

* Multiple years experience in a team lead or management position.

* Experience of managing both a permanent and contingent workforce.

* Excellent communication, delegation and customer service skills.

* Ability to maintain composure in a pressurised, fast-paced environment.

* Ability to understand business needs and prioritise issues accordingly.

* A broad knowledge and interest in IT.
