3rd Line IT Systems Engineer - Staffordshire - £35,000 - £38,000 + Large Discounts and Corporate Benefits.Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 / 2016, Active Directory 2012 / 2016, Group Policy, Windows Servers, Server Clustering, VMware 6.5 Storage Anti-Virus Support & Administration, Mass Storage SAN (IBM XiV) The client is a well knows name in their respective industry with a significant history and are seeking a career minded, professional, ethical and confident IT Systems Specialist to support their 3rd Line Team.Based out of their Staffordshire Offices you will be responsible predominantly for 3rd Line Technical Support for their HQ and UK user base, including their UK wide infrastructure.Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure, prerequisites are a calm and methodical approach to you work, a strong and professional service ethic with a natural willingness to help your IT Team, peers, colleagues, customers and stakeholders.This is a high-level support role and will require a consultative DNA, excellent communication skills and ideally IT Systems experience gained in and around the financial arena.KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS YOU WILL NEED: Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 and 2016Active Directory 2012 and 2016Group Policy Management and AdministrationWindows Servers 2012 and 2016Windows Server ClusteringVMware 6.5VEEAM and Backup ExecAnti-Virus Support and AdministrationMass Storage SAN Nutanix and/or EMC VNXEmail Filtering TechnologiesSecurity Auditing and Patching administrationProblem Management and Critical Data-Management KEY PERSON SKILLS YOU WILL HAVE: Excellent team working skills and relationship skills with users and colleaguesEmphasis always on the customer to ensure they receive an exceptional level of service.Self-motivated with a positive, challenge orientated attitude.Excellent oral and written communication skillsThe ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a business
