Infrastructure Engineer - 3rd Line Support

Spring technology are currently working in partnership with a leading managed service provider to recruit an infrastructure engineer with a focus on monitoring solutions to join an exciting new project within the organisation

Hatfield

£45k - £52k

As an infrastructure engineer your focus will be on an exciting new project replacing existing monitoring systems with ScienceLogic. You will design, configure, build, implement and support the new platform monitoring solution.

Key Responsibilities

* Define, design and implement new solutions to enhance existing systems

* Provide documentation supporting requirements and support activities including reports and risk and issue logs

* Manage and perform implementation tasks to support in life change projects to accurate time scales

* Raise system changes for technical activities that need to be performed

* Analyse and resolve complex faults across the tooling function

You will need

* Proven experience across a technical support environment to a high level including Windows, Linux and Virtualisation

* Some experience across monitoring platforms and tools would be beneficial

* Strong experience in designing complex technical solutions

* Excellent knowledge across infrastructure technology

* An analytical and systematic approach to resolving complex problems
