We are the largest mutual Life, Pensions and Investment Company in the UK.  We have an exciting permanent opportunity for two experienced Business Analyst to join the Group Technology & Change team based in Edinburgh. The main purpose of the role is to take ownership for delivering detailed Business designs, processes and functional that support the business needs to the agreed time-scales and quality requirements. Key Accountabilities Analysis responsibility for change initiatives across project areas or within an agile squad Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to investigate operational issues, problems and opportunities Identifying technological and operational process improvement opportunities across project areas Analysing processes and data to identify opportunities for improvements Documenting business requirements and ensuring source traceability whilst adhering to specific group standards Active involvement in our BA community; contributing to development of best practice and continuous evolution of the role Skills and Experience A strong Business Analysis background and experience of BA toolkits and standards Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relations Strong work ethic and drive to get tasks completed to tight deadlines Enthusiasm and adaptability Essential Criteria A strong Business Analyst background An excellent communicator who can develop relationships well across multiple business areas Experience in continuous improvement and supporting change management Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable maintaining relationships Desirable Criteria Experience working within an agile environment or agile squads Previous financial services experience What we offer We've always been proud to reward employees by offering a number of benefits such as pensions and protection products, performance and role-related benefits, and lifestyle and wellbeing benefits Our culture comes from within, or to put it another way, it comes from our people.
