Controls Engineer (Automation)£38,000 - £48,000 + excellent packageTamworth, Staffordshire (commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Lichfield, Burton on Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hinckley)Are you are Controls Engineering looking to work on cutting edge automation equipment for a growing and ambitious company?On offer is a technically interesting role where you rise through the ranks into senior roles with in the organisation.This company design and build automated solutions for their prestigious automotive client based throughout the world. They have recently invested heavily in a state of the art R&D laboratory and with future expansions plans ahead this is an exciting time to join this growing company.

This role would suit a Controls Engineer looking to be at the forefront of their industry.The Role

* Designing PLC software from scratch and/or modify existing software for projects

* Designing HMI screens from scratch and/or modify existing HMI screens for projects

* Understand automotive customer specifications and be able to apply them to the project

* Prepare electrical and fluidics BOM'sThe Person

*Able to fully programme PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.)

*Experience in either an automotive (OEM'S such AS Ford or JLR would be great) or automation environment
