With a recent round of funding closing at £2 million they are poised to further grow their London team!Job descriptionIn this Business Development graduate job, they are looking for several high-energy, driven sales executives to join the partnerships team and play an integral role in helping hit serious growth goals in 2020. You'll be working at the very front of the business, communicating with potential clients on a daily basis from the Shoreditch-based HQ to convert them into users of their technology. Whether this is your first role, or you're looking to move into sales from another field, they're looking for someone who's keen to learn. This is a period of massive growth for this business and you'll have loads of opportunities to take on responsibility and rapidly develop your career. As a fast-growing startup they're rapidly learning and evolving themselves and will look to you to do the same.Key responsibilitiesIn this Business Development job, your responsibilities will include:

•Contacting and speaking with local shops, to get them excited about the product•Being an expert on the product, and distilling this into a form local businesses can understand•Converting interested shops into clients, before passing them to the onboarding team to get them up and running•Tracking and exceeding sales targets, helping to build a quality network of brilliant shops•Following up promptly on prospective shop enquiries, grabbing the plate while it's hot!•Qualifying interested shops, ensuring that they're a good fit for the technology•Sharing shop feedback with the wider sales and product teams, helping them constantly refine and improve the product and messaging•Managing your own sales pipeline, and the CRM tools that go with it•Proactively identifying new opportunities, driving growth into new areas

Job requirements

•A University degree•Some sales, retail or technology experience•Interest in all things retail!•Excellent relationship-building and communication skills•Highly driven and results orientated•A strong communicator, both written and over the phone
