3rd Line Network Support Engineer (WAN, Juniper, BGP, MPLS) - Solihull - initial 6-month contractMy client, a global technology company are looking to hire a 3rd Line Network Support Engineer, the role will be supporting one of my client's customers within the Defence space. The position will be based full time on site in Solihull an initial 6-month contract.Role Background:The successful candidate will join a small team of highly skilled engineers based in Solihull to manage and support the new Juniper Core Network (MCN) WAN estate.The day to day of the role will involve a mix of general support, escalations, faulting finding and some project/implementation work is expected over the duration of the assignment.The MCN is a high performance, high availability Juniper based network consisting of MX and SRX series devices and you will be expected to provide support and management across a range of queries and issues.Essential Experience/Skills:Candidates should be able to demonstrate extensive professional experience working on a WAN estate and protocols such as;MPLSJuniper SRX platformBGPPKICandidates who also have prior experience of Encryption are highly desirable.Exposure to working with Juniper MX and SRX series devices would also be of interest as well as holding Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP or JNCIS.A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.
