Senior Application Developer / Java / 3-6 month contract / West Midlands / £450-£700 per day / Immediate start

Client I am currently recruiting for are seeking a Senior Application Developer with Java background

Role: Senior Application Developer (Java)

Location: West Midlands

Duration: 3-6 months

Rate: £450 - £700 per day working inside IR35 (rate negotiable dependent on experience)

The responsibilities of the role entail:

*Design and build cleanly-coded, maintainable solutions to satisfy business needs

*Contribute to ensuring we keep our test automation at the standard required for CI/CD

*Share your specialist knowledge with other team members to support their development

*Actively support our Agile rituals and role interplays

*Support what we create by taking responsibility for the work that you do

*Take an active part in our technical knowledge sharing initiatives

*Previous experience creating web services in Python - ideally Django or Flask

*Good knowledge of distributed systems architecture (in the Cloud)

*Previous experience creating web services or back end systems in Java

*Skilled at software design - OOD, separation of concerns and decoupling

*Thorough understanding of automated testing creation

*Previous experience in an Agile team using CI
