Excellent role on offer for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator looking to work for a world renowned, market leading distribution company where you will enjoy a varied role whilst be instrumental in the development and success of their busy department.

Do you have experience of overseeing the maintenance of automated systems and the facilities maintenance of a fast moving environment? Do you have experience of overseeing contractors and carrying out vendor performance?

This company is the world's largest express transportation / distribution company providing fast reliable services to more than 220 countries. This is their largest and busiest international hub which is a 24/7 operation full of highly automated state of the art equipment. Due to considerable growth and ongoing site expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator / Manager.

In this varied role you will be required to support the operational continuity by providing effective facility and equipment services and solutions for planned and reactive maintenance. You will review and improve their current processes and procedures whilst leading in the designs, development and implementation of new processes within the department. You will also be responsible for managing vendor performance in accordance with the contractual terms as well as overseeing contractors on site.

This is an exciting, demanding role which would ideally suit an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator / Manager who has experience of working within a fast moving environment who is degree educated in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The Role;

· Facilities Maintenance Coordinator / Manager

· Oversee the whole maintenance of equipment and facilities

· Vendor performance

· Overseeing contractors on site

· Working Monday to Friday Days (Flexibility is required occasionally)

· £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

The Person;

· Facilities Maintenance Coordinator / Manager

· Experience of working within a fast moving environment

· Must be degree educated in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

· Experience of planning and coordinating maintenance programmes

· Must have good communication skills
