How will you support us?
This role is working with Saint-Gobain Technology Service (SGTS) in Coventry on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing assistance for the support and delivery of all IT services and equipment managed and/or supported by SGTS. This role is a combination of touch and remote support and covers both core services and services specific to sectors/business units where analysts are based and/or visit as part of their role as a Desktop Support Analyst.
In the role as an On-Site Desktop Support Analyst you will;
Provide On-Site Support to Customers on behalf of SGTS
Responsible for Managing & Maintaining BAU Workload to agreed SLA's
Provide a great Customer Experience by Supporting Colleagues as/when required
Use appropriate Troubleshooting Techniques to Identify & Resolve any Issues / Requests relating to Software and Hardware.
Demonstrate Excellent Verbal / Written Communication skills at all times
Ensure IT equipment remains Secure and Compliant
Ensure all assigned Project work is completed within allocated timescales

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;
Previous experiencing working within a 2nd Line Support Role including, Configuring and Troubleshooting End User Equipment (i.e. PCs, Laptops, Phones, Mobile Devices & Tablets)
Experience and Understanding around Patching Processes / Activities alongside Security Management.
Experience using ITSM Toolsets around Incident Management (e.g. ServiceNow).
Extensive Experience Installing / Upgrading Hardware & Software.
Experience using CMCB / Asset Management.
Experience around Network Support (i.e. IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, Ping, Tracert, Printing etc.)
Ability to effectively manage demanding Workload volumes alongside BAU activities.
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Clean UK Driving License.
Qualifications;
A Level / HNC / HND / Degree in IT related Subject
IT related Qualifications Considered
Desirable MCP - MCSE, CCA, ITIL Foundation
