A local council currently requires a Avaya Support Engineer for an initial 3 month contract based in London paying up to £167 per day via Umbrella.Reporting to the Service Desk and User Support Manager. This role will require a dynamic and proactive individual used to working on customer sites and taking ownership of workloads. Experience with current Avaya products is essential, knowledge should be with Aura products including Communication Manager, Messaging, SBC, Session Manager, System Manager and some experience with Contact Centre applications would be beneficial.Key RequirementsExperience, knowledge of installing and supporting Avaya Solutions on both traditional Avaya hardware and VMware serversExperience with LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi Networking with good knowledge of basic network design and protocols like DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, DNS, NTPMust be a good communicator and able to keep both internal and external parties updatedDynamic individual that can provide a solution to an issue and be able to think laterally on how to resolve an issueTo be able to work as both a team player and on your ownDemonstrate good skills in problem solving methodologyExperience with Helpdesk or Customer Service EssentialMust be computer literate (Software/Hardware)Interested in Technology/Telephony/Networking/VoIPUse of Microsoft Office ApplicationsGood Communication SkillsExperience with Networks and Computers is essentialExperience with Telephony or VoIP is essentialPlease do get in touch if you would like to discuss this opportunity further by submitting your most up to date CV in the first instance.
