Pontefract, West YorkshireAre you looking to be part of a large project to rewrite the software systems of a global manufacturing company, taking a leading role as DBA? You will be part of a small, highly skilled team in a company known for looking after their staff.This is an excellent time to join and be part of an ambitious, close knit group in the head office that are completely updating their systems! You will be the go to person, specialising in SQL with lots of autonomy and technical freedom.The company have well over 100 facilities worldwide and are growing and investing in the UK through acquiring existing companies. They have a low staff turnover and really look after people, it's an exciting time to join at the start of this multi-year project.This would suit a DBA experienced in Visual Studio 17 onwards and developing in SQL, looking to join a global company as part of a huge project to overhaul their software systems.The Role:

- Develop packages, functions, triggers in MS SQL 2017

- Design, install, administer, optimise company database

- Achieve optimum performance of business applications through tuning the databaseThe Person:

- Experienced in developing with MS SQL

- SQL Server administration
