Global Guided Buying Programme Lead -- 8 Months Initially - Sunbury-On-ThamesMy client are currently on the lookout for an experienced Global Guided Buying Programme Lead for a long-term project based in Sunbury-On-Thames on an initial 8-month contract. The client can offer a competitive daily rate, and the role is full time on site.Role descriptionThe Global Guided Buying Programme Lead plays a critical role in the transformation Purchase to Pay journey for Downstream Procurement in the area of Guided BuyingThis role will support, develop and establish the Downstream Guided buying methodology for our global SAP Ariba deployment across all elements including buying channels, landing pages, contract compliance, UNSPSC and related categorisation, business and GBS PR (Purchase Requisition) handling and workflow guidance. They will do this in conjunction with our global Sustain S2P team and SAP Ariba teams Essential skills and experienceThe role of the Global Guided Buying Programme Lead is to deliver Guided Buying capability and understanding within our Procurement function. They will support our Procurement Category Directors and Category owners through Guided Buying to help them understand how Guided Buying will work for their areas; help them successfully develop their Guided Buying approach and longer-term development plans.This role will build a strong technical knowledge on SAP Ariba to be able to provide the right guidance and inspiration to the Category teams in Guided Buying development.To achieve success this role must work closely and in a harmonised way with our global GBS Sustain S2P team and other Strategy & Excellence teams across regions on Guided buying methodology and approach. This role will also work closely with our Global Category Directors, Category and Hub Procurement Leads supported by our Global Category Ariba Deployment Lead.The role will be expected to manage and report on Guided Buying progress as well as identifying risks to delivery and opportunities for improvement.
