Data Analyst- Python + R - Manchester - 48k Job DescriptionA Northern transport powerhouse is expanding their team and is looking for a bright, articulate and critically thinking Senior Data Analyst to work closely with strategy leaders and contribute to the improval of current processes. In your role you'll be delivering vital data, analytics and modelling solutions to aid key decision makers in deciding the future of Northern public transport. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands on with statistical data to develop Geographical Information Systems (GIS), working in an Agile setting with an almost unlimited reach of data.

Role & ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and design of databases integrating data from multiple sourcesOrganise and manage incoming and outgoing dataWorking on GIS softwareTransforming data and run analysis in an efficient mannerAnalyse datasets in detail and bring this data to lifeProducing high quality reports

Skills & Qualifications Strong background in Mathematics Good coding knowledge with a scripting language with Python Working knowledge with AWS or Azure cloud platform Working with relational SQL databases Experience with R Good knowledge of Excel Benefits Competitive salary 33 days holiday (including bank) 15% pension contribution If this role is of interest, send across a CV for consideration.
