Job description
Are you a proactive and enthusiastic IT Operations Director with experience in delivering complex transformational projects?

The role:


Reporting to the Director of Digital and IT within NICE, you will be a key member of the directorate senior team during a period of transformation connected to the implementation of a new strategy and operating model.

The role will have responsibility for the delivery of day-to-day IT operations and support to NICE, which include networking, infrastructure, WebOps and unified user support. The postholder will also be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of key projects which include an outsourced IT service provider transition, and a London Office move. The postholder will have operational responsibility for implementing many aspects of an emerging digital workplace strategy.

What you will bring to NICE: A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, ideally backed by other relevant ICT and programme management and delivery qualifications including ITIL, Prince and MSP, cyber security. Extensive knowledge of ICT technologies, industry standards and processes for effective delivery of IT operations and support, including Office 365, WAN connectivity and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Extensive experience in an IT operations leadership role, in environments with WebOps capabilities. This would include configuration management, automation, optimisation. Successful track record of rapidly understanding new contexts in order to deliver effective IT operations and implement change. Being passionate and knowledgeable about smarter working through technology, including about mobile and collaborative working. Experience procuring and managing outsourced IT infrastructure services.

The department:

The Digital, Information and Technology (DigIT) directorate is a 60 strong team of digital, data and technology professionals. The directorate is responsible for developing and maintaining NICE's suite of digital and technology services and plays a key role in the implementation of NICE's digital transformation programme.

The teams in DigIT design, develop and maintain NICE's suite of externally facing digital services including the NICE's website, Pathways and NICE Evidence Services.

The directorate is also responsible for NICE's internal guidance production systems including content management, authoring and publishing systems, with a view to generate internal efficiencies and to ensure NICE takes advantage of digital innovations arising across the health and care landscape, such as machine learning and data science.

As such DigIT has a key role to play in keeping NICE's guidance relevant, high-quality, up-to-date, and accessible.

DigIT is also responsible for IT operations and support of the whole organisation, including networking, infrastructure, WebOps and unified user support, in addition to leading the implementation of new digital workplace solutions to boost operational productivity at NICE.
