The role: Having recently won a large contract with the MOD to enable the delivery of the next generation of Tactical Communication and Information Systems, we are looking to expand our existing technical teams. The programme of work includes communications system itself, the application set the Common Battlefield Applications Toolset (ComBAT), and the Information systems. As a recognised market leading expert, QinetiQ work closely with the MOD as a strategic partner, helping them deliver innovation & enable cutting edge technologies to achieve their goals.

To support this, we are actively recruiting recent graduates for consultative opportunities within a number of our specialist teams. In this fast paced and technically challenging environment, you will support the technical delivery of secure end-to-end communications solutions in a multi-bearer, mobile environment from high level design to delivery and transition to service. This will include the capturing of requirements, conducting research and analysis activities on new communications technologies and taking an active role in the transition into operations.

The fit: The successful candidates will be a recent graduates, with a degree in an engineering discipline e.g. systems or electrical & electronic engineers, with an interest in radio communications (or may have studied telecommunications as a module). You will thrive working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where no 2 days are the same.
