A client of Spring Technologies are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Pension Officer.
Based in Edinburgh on an initial 6 month contract.
Administering the end to end payroll processes to ensure the accurate running of the monthly payroll, supporting the processing of pension information and responding to any employee queries
Payroll
Administer the running of the monthly payroll including payslip day and BACS day processes;
Ensure all payroll changes have been made to the system;
Process change of hours contracts;
Deal with maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave cases;
Oversee the input and audit of employee absence records;
Benefits administration.
Pension
Deal with pensions queries from internal and external sources;
Ensure the smooth processing of pension information our pension administrator;
Participate in pension data cleanse.
Desirable Criteria
Tax knowledge;
Experience of budget management;
Studying towards, or intending to, a relevant HR or payroll qualification e.g. Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP) or Payroll Alliance.
