Technical BA (ETL and Data Warehousing)

I am currently working with a large public sector organisation in Sheffield to recruit a Technical Business Analyst on a temporary basis (5 weeks).

*Undertake a high level audit of the Extract Transform and Load (ETL) data workflows running in the SQL Data Warehouse

*Review these with business Stakeholders (including SPI, HR, Finance, SAS) to determine which data sets are in use and adding value in order to determine whether they should be part of the migration plan to a new SQL Server Platform

*Work collaboratively with SPI to understand and document requirements and governance for access to the Native Data Store

*Work collaboratively with SPI to establish governance requirements for

oData dictionaries

oSecurity and access matrix requirements

oRegular reviews

oData Glossary

In terms of the required skill set I think we would benefit from a Technical BA who is able to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders

*Experience of SQL Server DWH and SSIS an advantage

*Ability to conduct high level review of ETL processes

*Deliver a audit of the EWH ETL Data Flows and identify which are still in use and of value to the business
