Junior-Mid level Test Analyst / progression into AutomationLocation: Newcastle upon TyneSalary: £27,000 This organisation are going through some exciting changes within their Testing team, with the addition of this Junior-Mid level Test Analyst alongside some more experienced Automation resources in the coming months.The introduction of this opportunity is vital for the organisation to be able to cultivate their own in-house talent and really work on developing someone's existing skills to be in line with what the business needs from their wider Testing environment A little about the roleThis role will be a great hands on Testing position working on some incredible and forward thinking commercial applications. It will look to utilise your expertise in Testing Web applications as well as your hunger and drive to take on new responsibilities to expand your skill setYou will work as part of a wider Dev team ensuring that all applications work to the specifications of given End Users as well as having fluid and effective functionalities.As this role is looking to progress someone into the World of Automation, as well as taking part in existing Test functions, you will also be mentored and trained by the existing Automation Testers to really build a solid understanding of key Automation principles and skills, and how these can work together with existing Test activities. A little about youIdeally, you will be looking to embark on a journey of learning and development to expand your already existing solid foundation of understanding within Software Testing.You will ideally be at the level where you have some great commercial experience in the World of Software Testing, and looking for the next step in your career to really propel your experience forward.Any commercial experience in Automation (Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, Ranorex etc.) will be ideal as this will help with all the additional training you will receive.
