Job DescriptionThe cyber security consultant will sit within the Cyber Defence operations team and provide guidance for the day-to-day management of security tools used to respond to malware and other security related incidents. The technology focus will be around advanced malware detection, DDoS, IPS, Anti Spam and Threat intelligence. The ideal candidate will have exposure to a wide range of technologies relating to the response of security threats but also supporting on going maintenance and improvements to existing implementations.

Role & Responsibilities Conduct research, analysis and correlation across a wide variety of source data sets.Provide tools to perform continual monitoring and analysis of system activitiesCoordinate with other departments to manage and administer the updating of rules and signatures. Coordinate with global network teams to validate network alertsRecommend computing environment vulnerability corrections.Identify and correct inconsistencies or complications in process.Reporting monitoring and support.
