Detail: North Norfolk is an attractive rural District with beautiful coastline, fantastic landscapes and big skies within easy reach of the fine City of Norwich. At North Norfolk District Council, we are delivering a significant programme of Digital Transformation which will impact on every aspect of our organisation, focusing on delivering better value, quality and efficiency in all of our services across North Norfolk. At the heart of that transformation is the ongoing development of web services, offering an engaging user experience to deliver fully transactional services covering all areas of the Council's work. To support this, we are looking to appoint an additional developer to join the team delivering both the Council's public facing website and intranet which is based on the Microsoft technology stack. The successful applicant will work on the development of transactional based services which are integrated with various back office systems and data. You will implement and extend standard frameworks as well as developing bespoke functionality to provide innovative web based solutions to business problems. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and importantly, innovative in their approach to work. They will require excellent technical and interpersonal skills to turn business requirements into practical solutions.
