Role: Electronics InspectorLocation: Nailsea (Bristol)Duration: 6 Month initial contractPay: Competitive hourly rate + Shift premiums Night and Day shifts available. Role Summary:The QC Inspector will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning Essential Responsibilities:Maintain Control over manufacturing record documentsTrack non-conformance report closures and implement adequate corrective actionsEnsure all manufacturing process steps have been completedVerify that product is manufactured according to specified technical and process requirementsVerify effective implementation of workmanship standards and that specified product requirements are metPerform follow-up activities to close out audit findings and measure improvementsProvide training to personnel if deficiencies are found with specific duties identified in procedures and technical requirementsPerform, document, and report out on inspections on critical or identified partsAssist in performing ISO required tasks, such as Internal Audit reportsAssist with preparation, scheduling and conducting of internal quality auditsReport any accidents or injuries while on the job Desired:Familiarity with ISO 9001, policies and proceduresKnowledgeable regarding inspection procedures in a relevant manufacturing environment (automotive, controls, aviation)Familiarity with Internal Quality Auditing for ISO 9001:2008Demonstrated oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsIPC 610 certificateIPC 620 certificateJ-STD-001 certificateWorkstation auditor training To apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
